Making your basic step look different

Practice the basic step by only stepping on the balls of your feet, avoid your heels touching the floor – you will notice that you can only achieve this when your knees are slightly bent, and your feet are touching the floor at the same line as your knees, not in front – otherwise you will not keep your center, your balance point – remember that Claudia always keeps teaching us the dancers posture 🙂

You will also notice that you will be able to move faster, better keep the timing and have more stability – also in your partner work 🙂

Start with a slow song, like Grupo Arcano – La Maya
